Dr. Gladys Pak Lei Chong (Baptist University, Hong Kong), fellow in the project Social Worlds: China's Cities as Spaces of Worldmaking will be holding a lecture with the title "BAT Celebrity Tech Entrepreneurs and Chinese Masculinities in the Era of Global Digital Economy" on Thursday, June 26 at 6pm in the Welzhaus, organized by SCIAS (Siebold-Collegium is the Institute for Advanced Studies).

It will be one of two talks that evening under the interdisciplinary framing of "Inorganic Chemistry meets Cultural Studies of East and South Asia". The second talk, titled "Boron Element in Catalysis" will be held by Prof. Dr. Shubhankar Kumar Bose (Jain University, India).
