Sebastian Conrad (Freie Universität Berlin) takes over as principal investigator in the project "A Translingual Conceptual History of Chinese Worlds"

We are pleased to welcome Sebastian Conrad from the Freie Universität Berlin as the new principal investigator in the joint project "A Translingual Conceptual History of Chinese Worlds"!
Following Elena Meyer-Clement's departure from Freie Universität Berlin to the University of Copenhagen, Sebastian Conrad took over the leadership of the project in October 2021. Sebastian Conrad is a professor of global history, with a focus on (post)colonial history and the history of ideas, among other things, and with a focus on East Asia.
Previously a cooperation partner in the project "Conceptions of World Order and their Carrier Groups", Sebastian Conrad will enrich the project in the area of worldmaking with his disciplinary orientation and expertise.
